FATHER'S DAY AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH
On Father's Day, we welcomed pastor Emeritus Lonnie Shull to our pulpit He has brought along some special guests to provide music for the day. The Harmony Boys is a quartet that was put together by the B-C High School chorus teacher in 1952, with Lonnie Shull as the bass. They sang on the radio, television, and all around the area from 1952-1956. They re-united for a high school reunion program this weekend and will be shared with usi n song this morning. This group has not sung publically in 55 years.
Pictured below is the quartet as they appeared in 1953 and this Sunday. In front is Bill Scott, pianist; in the middle row is Terry Richardson and Lonnie Shull.
