The deacons constitute an advisory council in all manners relating to spiritual affairs of this church and shall assist the pastor in the discharge of his pastoral duties. Deacons are specifically charged with the administering of the Lord's Supper, of keeping the membership enlisted in the full program of the church and of promoting peace, harmony, and the spirit of cooperation among the membership.
