There are a variety of classes to meet the needs of every adult. Presently we have five adult departments and other classes that adults may choose from. Adults may select the class they feel best meets their needs. Transferring from one class to another may be done at any time.

This men’s class proclaims the truths contained in God’s Word in a simple, yet profound way. The teacher is a mature Christian and a master communicator who makes the complexities of Christian living easy to understand. This class is small which allows time to explore the answers to specific questions.
Special Education Department
Snyder Building
Room 205
This class is designed for adults with special educational needs. Contact the church office if you know of someone who may benefit from this specialized ministry. HopeBridge is another class (off-campus) led by church staff on Tuesdays.
New Members Class
Snyder Building
Conference Room
As new members join the First Family they are encouraged to attend this class. Topics covered in this four week class are designed to acquaint new members with the church and its ministries, explore spiritual giftedness, learn about opportunities for service, discover the rich history of First Baptist Church and more. This class also welcomes inquirers who are interested in knowing more about First Baptist.
The Family Bible Study curriculum is used in all of the adult Sunday School classes. This curriculum is developed by Lifeway Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention after looking at the needs and issues of adults in the world today and then applying the Scriptures that speak to those needs. Materials we use are written uniquely for each of five age groups that speak directly to the issues that are confronting that particular age group.
