Music/Adult Activities
Charlton Bozard is a native of Orangeburg, S.C. He is a graduate of Clemson University and the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Ordained to the ministry in 1978, he has served 4 churches in the Carolinas as minister of music. He has been on the staff of First Baptist Church since July of 1993. He and his wife, Sallie, have two children, Sara Beth and Andrew. In addition to his duties at First Baptist, Charlton serves as accompanist for the South Carolina Baptist Singing Churchmen, a choral group of ministers of music from across our state. He is also a composer of church music, primarily in the fields of children's choirs and piano.

Ren Bray

Ren is a graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School, Midlands Technical College, and Columbia International University (degree in Youth Ministry). He began his work at First Baptist Church on September 7, 2004. He previously served as Student Minister at Northside Baptist Church, West Columbia. Ren is married to Lisa Neese and they have two sons, Neal and Taylor.
