Women's Missionary Union
First Baptist Church has an active WMU with three different organizations. These organizations are:

Girls in Action is the organization for girls
in grades 1 - 6.
This organization meets on Wednesday night. It
conducts mission learning experiences. Girls will be led to discover
truths such as their
worth and God's love for them as young girls.

Mission Friends is the organization for preschoolers, babies through
pre-first. This organization meets on Wednesday night. Preschoolers
move their focus from self to others. They see how God is sharing
His love around the world through special helpers and
how they can be helpers, too.

Women on Mission is the organization for women 18 years of age and older. Through Women on Mission, women of all ages are encouraged to
grow in their relationship to Christ and in missions involvement through ongoing small groups and as individually involved members.
The vision behind all Women on Mission activities is that every woman
will find an entry point that enables her to fulfill God's missions
purpose for her life as she develops spiritually toward a missions lifestyle.
The primary work of the WMU is to lead the church and WMU members to:
- pray for and give to missions
- do missions
- learn about missions
- develop spiritually toward a missions lifestyle
- participate in the work of the church and the denomination
